Every time I look at these photos from Mary & Anders’ vibrant Forget-Me-Not Nursery Greenhouse Wedding, I can’t help but hum this familiar song to myself.
Full of color, romance, and botanical details everywhere… this was a day truly celebrating a budding new chapter of Mary & Anders life.
The day started with a few final touches for Mary & Anders before their first look with each other outside their rented getting-ready cabin in the woods. The large windows and surrounding trees make this location a perfect place to get ready for a wedding or elopement! After Mary’s first look with her dad we went outside for her first look with her groom. I love the details, especially the way Anders’ blue suit matched perfectly with the forget-me-nots around the property. All of the beautiful wildflowers we saw this day added to the perfect summer greenhouse wedding vibe.
After a moment of reading letters to each other, we left to do a few portraits along the Turnagain Arm. It was windy but so stunning! The colors here are beyond beautiful – you can even see a few pops of the purple lupine!
Their ceremony was held at a small chapel in Girdwood before dancing over to their greenhouse wedding reception nearby.
The vibrant botanical venue for their Forget-Me-Not Nursery Greenhouse Wedding, was the perfect end for the floral-inspired vibe!
With a live band and the energy from their loved ones around them, they danced the night away. As the night went on the sun still confidently shone through the top of the greenhouse.
