When Christina reached out to me through my website for some moody mountain photos of her and her hubby, it felt like a dream come true.

Christina is an extraordinarily talented photographer based in Michigan. I could not believe she wanted me to capture their love in the Alaska mountains. My heart nearly exploded when I read her email! I’ve followed her work on instagram for many years. She’s been such an inspiration to me and the art I create!

When I met Christina & Logan for the first time, it felt like we were old friends. They were so comfortable to be around and interacted so organically with each other. This was the first time they have had professional photos taken together since their elopement in Colorado in 2018, so the pressure was on to create some serious magic!

This was their first time in Alaska and they were able to travel from Seward to Denali! I loved hearing about all the adventures they were going on and how much they loved this beautiful state already. Alaska is home to me and I love hearing about it’s beauty through fresh eyes! Christina’s favorite part of the trip was their tour of the Fjords in Seward. Seeing this dream come true for her gives so much positive energy into the session!

When we were blessed with some stormy clouds and a clear view of the mountains, I knew this would be one of my favorite sessions to date.

I absolutely loved working with these two – everything about them was a dream!

As a photographer my goal is to not only make beautiful art, but to tell a story. Christina & Logan both love a more moody, serious aesthetic but love laughing and having fun together too. I feel we captured that well together, and I hope you enjoy these moody mountain photos as much as I do!
